Specific Service Offerings
Meghan Rice is an associate attorney at the Timothy Rice Estate and Elder Law Firm, where she guides clients through trust and estates law planning and litigation with empathy, clarity and strong advocacy.
Meghan works with individuals and families on estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, guardianships and conservatorships, Medicaid planning and contested probate and fiduciary matters. Whether helping clients plan proactively or navigate conflict after a loved one’s death, Meghan is deeply committed to honoring people’s intent and easing the stress that often accompanies these deeply personal matters.
She brings a strong civil and commercial litigation background to her trust and estates practice, which allows her to approach probate and estate disputes with strategic insight and practical judgment. She works on matters involving will contests, undue influence, capacity issues, fiduciary disputes and real estate and business interests connected to estates and trusts. Her experience litigating complex disputes translates seamlessly to estate and trust litigation, particularly in cases where family dynamics, financial interests and business considerations intersect.
After earning her law degree at the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, Meghan served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. J. Christopher Gibson of the Cape May County (New Jersey) Superior Court. She held several internships during law school, including for the Camden County and Atlantic County prosecutors’ offices.
An attentive listener and a detail-oriented problem solver, Meghan is a steady and compassionate advocate for her clients. She takes the time to understand not only the legal issues at hand, but also the personal circumstances driving them. Clients value her ability to explain options clearly, protect their interests thoughtfully and stand up for them when it matters most. She is a strong and precise writer, a skill that strengthens her ability to craft clear estate planning documents, persuasive court filings and thoughtful correspondence that advances her clients’ goals and protects their interests.
At the core of Meghan’s practice is a genuine belief that everyone deserves strong representation and a lawyer who treats their goals and concerns with care and respect.
