Timothy J. Rice, founder and managing partner of Timothy Rice Estate and Elder Law Firm (TREEL), spoke at a recent Encore! program formed by the Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Southern NJ, an agency of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey. Rice provided an update on legal issues which might impact the participants, and reviewed a checklist of legal documents they should maintain with current and accurate information.
Encore!, designed to help widows and widowers set the stage for life’s next act, is a group for individuals 60 and over who have lost a life partner within the past two years. TREEL is one of several professional organizations which sponsor the annual program which schedules monthly sessions dealing with relationships, dating, grief, finding a new normal, and planning for the future which of course includes trust and will documents.
